- Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry. Clean the surface using a suitable cleaner and allow the surface to dry completely.
- Use the product neat, do not dilute.
- Apply the coating to the surface in one coat using a roller or brush.
- Excess material should be removed using a linkt cloth or a microfiber cloth to prevent inconsistencies in the enhancement
- Allow the coating to dry and cure fully for a period of 48 hours before use.

Sandstone is one of the most porous natural stones used in Indian construction.
Every time it rains, sandstone drinks the water in. That trapped moisture does three things — it feeds mold and algae growth from within the stone, it pushes mineral salts outward through the surface causing white patches and efflorescence, and over years it physically weakens the stone from the inside.
Standard cleaning products clean what's on the surface. The growth is below it. The moisture problem is inside it. Which is why the patches, the green staining and the white marks keep returning every single monsoon — no matter how many times the surface is cleaned.
This kit works at both levels. The Antifungal Cleaner penetrates into the porous surface of the sandstone, dissolving fungal and algae roots and breaking down the mineral deposits that cause white patches — not just wiping the surface. Once clean and fully dry, the Water Repellent Coating seals every pore in the stone. Moisture can no longer enter. No moisture in, no mold growing, no salts forming, no efflorescence.

Application Details
CLEAN
- Remove dust and debris.
- Mix 250 ml of Winseal Fungus and Mold Remover with 750 ml water in the empty trigger spray bottle from the kit. Fix the trigger and shake the mixture well for 15 seconds.
- Spray this mixture on the affected surface using a sprayer.
- Allow 10 minutes of dwell time, where the cleaner will loosen the dust and dirt deposits.
- Scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive pad to lift residues.
- Rinse thoroughly with lots of clean water using a water jet machine.
- Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours.
COAT
- Shake the product container well.
- On the dry sandstone surface, apply the Winseal Water Repellant coating directly on the dry surface using a spray or roller. Apply generously to make the entire surface wet. Ensure there is no dry patch.
- If the stone surface absorbs the coating immediately, apply a second layer of the coating.
- Allow the coating to dry for 48 hours before use.

Because cleaning alone only removes surface growth — it doesn't touch the roots below, and it doesn't stop moisture from re-entering. The Antifungal Cleaner in this kit removes growth at root level. The Water Repellent Coating seals the stone so moisture can't enter again. Both steps together are what breaks the cycle — either one alone won't.
