Cancellation, Return, Refund & Limitation of Liability Policy
This Policy applies to all products sold under the brand Winseal (“Products”). By purchasing from Winseal, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Nature of Products
Winseal products are chemical-based surface treatment and coating solutions intended for professional, industrial, and project-based applications. Performance depends on:
  • Surface type and condition
  • Proper preparation and cleaning
  • Environmental factors (temperature, humidity, exposure)
  • Method of application
  • Compatibility with substrates
  • Adherence to technical guidelines
Due to the technical nature of these products, results may vary based on application conditions beyond Winseal’s control.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Winseal
Winseal reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to:
  • Stock limitations
  • Pricing or description errors
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions
  • Unverifiable order details
  • Regulatory or compliance concerns
If canceled, customers will be notified via email or phone, and eligible refunds will be processed accordingly.
2.2 Cancellation by Customer
Before Dispatch:
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if cancellation is requested before dispatch.
After Dispatch:
Orders cannot be canceled once shipped, except in cases of verified:
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Transit damage
Requests must be made at support@winseal.in.
3. Strict Non-Return Policy
Due to the chemical composition and safety considerations of Winseal products:
  • All products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once dispatched.
  • Returns are accepted only under verified exceptions listed below.
3.1 Eligible Exceptions
Returns may be considered only if:
  • The product has a confirmed manufacturing defect
  • The product was damaged during transit
  • An incorrect product was delivered
  • Items are missing from the order
Winseal does not accept returns for:
  • Incorrect product selection by the customer
  • Change of mind
  • Surplus material after project completion
  • Improper storage, dilution, mixing, or application
  • Application on incompatible substrates
  • Failure due to moisture ingress, structural defects, cracks, efflorescence, or site conditions
  • Damage resulting from external factors (weather, abrasion, chemicals, traffic, etc.)
4. Technical Responsibility & User Obligation
Before application, customers and applicators must:
  • Review the relevant Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
  • Conduct a small patch test
  • Ensure substrate suitability
  • Follow recommended dilution, coverage, and curing guidelines
Failure to perform a patch test or follow technical guidelines voids any claim eligibility.
Winseal shall not be responsible for:
  • Surface discoloration
  • Variation in sheen or appearance
  • Improper adhesion due to substrate contamination
  • Structural failures
  • Long-term wear caused by misuse or environmental exposure
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
  • Winseal’s liability is strictly limited to the invoice value of the defective product supplied.
  • Winseal shall not be liable for:
  • Labour charges
  • Application costs
  • Removal or reinstallation costs
  • Project delays
  • Loss of profits
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Under no circumstances shall Winseal be liable for damages arising from improper application, negligence, lack of supervision, or failure to follow instructions.
6. Return Process (If Eligible)
  1. Return request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery via support@winseal.in.
  2. Clear images and batch details must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.
  3. Winseal may request additional technical details or site photographs.
  4. Product may be collected for laboratory inspection before approval.
Return approval is subject to internal technical and quality evaluation.
7. Refund Process
If a return is approved:
  • Refunds will be processed within 8–10 business days to the original payment method.
  • COD refunds will be processed via verified bank transfer only.
Refunds will not include shipping charges unless the error was solely attributable to Winseal.
8. Replacement Policy
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed:
  • The defective material may be recalled for inspection.
  • A replacement will be provided at no additional cost.
  • Replacement does not extend to labour or reapplication costs.
9. Storage & Shelf Life Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for:
  • Storing products in recommended temperature conditions
  • Protecting materials from moisture and contamination
  • Using products within the stated shelf life
Claims arising from improper storage or expired material will not be accepted.
10. Shipping Summary
  • Free shipping on prepaid orders above ₹1000
  • ₹100 delivery charge for prepaid orders below ₹1000
  • ₹50 additional charge for COD orders
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where Winseal operates.
