Green patches creep up from the base. Black chalky streaks appear across the surface. The rich, warm colour of the brick fades and looks patchy and neglected. Standard cleaning removes it temporarily. But within weeks of the next rain, it's back — because the real problem isn't just on the surface. It's inside the brick.
Red brick is porous. Every time it rains, moisture soaks in. That trapped moisture feeds mold and algae growth from within. It also pushes mineral salts outward through the brick face which is what causes those white patches, called efflorescence. Until the moisture problem is fixed, the surface problem keeps returning.
This kit tackles the problem in two steps.
The Antifungal Cleaner goes in first dissolving fungal and algae growth at the root level, not just the surface. It also breaks down the mineral deposits causing the white patches. Once clean and dry, the Red Brick Revival Coating helps correct the faded, uneven appearance of the brick reviving its natural warmth and colour while keeping the brick's texture and character visible.
The result is a cleaner, more even and naturally revived brick surface that looks like brick not paint.

Application Details
CLEAN
- Remove dust and debris.
- Mix 250 ml of Winseal Fungus and Mold Remover with 750 ml water in the empty trigger spray bottle from the kit. Fix the trigger and shake the mixture well for 15 seconds.
- Spray this mixture on the affected surface using a sprayer.
- Allow 10 minutes of dwell time, where the cleaner will loosen the dust, dirt and fungal deposits.
- Scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive pad to lift residues.
- Rinse thoroughly with lots of clean water using a water jet machine.
- Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours.
COAT
- Shake the Winseal Red Brick Revival Coating container well before use & dilute with 20% clean water and mix thoroughly.
- On the clean and completely dry red brick surface, apply the coating evenly using a suitable roller. Ensure uniform coverage across the entire surface and avoid leaving dry patches.
- Allow the first coat to dry as recommended before applying a second coat, if required.
- Allow the coated surface to dry for 24 Hrs and cure completely before use or exposure to moisture, as recommended on the product label.

Yes, but only if both steps are done correctly. The green and black patches (fungus and mold) are caused by moisture moving through the brick and allowing bacteria to house inside the pores. The Antifungal Cleaner removes the existing deposits. The Water Repellent Coating seals the brick so moisture can't enter. No moisture absorption, no fungus and mold. The key is making sure the wall is completely dry before applying the coating if you seal moisture in, it will look for another way out.
