Green patches creep up from the base. Black chalky streaks appear across the surface. The rich, warm colour of the brick fades and looks patchy and neglected. Standard cleaning removes it temporarily. But within weeks of the next rain, it's back — because the real problem isn't on the surface. It's inside the brick.
Red brick is porous. Every time it rains, moisture soaks in. That trapped moisture feeds mold and algae growth from within. It also pushes mineral salts outward through the brick face — which is what causes those white patches, called efflorescence. Until the moisture problem is fixed, the surface problem keeps returning.
This kit fixes both — in two steps.
The Antifungal Cleaner goes in first — dissolving fungal and algae growth at the root level, not just the surface. It also breaks down the mineral deposits causing the white patches. Once clean and dry, the Water Repellent Coating seals every pore in the brick — stopping moisture from entering in the first place. No moisture in, no mold growing, no efflorescence forming.

How to Use ?
Application Details
CLEAN
- Remove dust and debris.
- Mix 250 ml of Winseal Fungus and Mold Remover with 750 ml water in the empty trigger spray bottle from the kit. Fix the trigger and shake the mixture well for 15 seconds.
- Spray this mixture on the affected surface using a sprayer.
- Allow 10 minutes of dwell time, where the cleaner will loosen the dust and dirt deposits.
- Scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive pad to lift residues.
- Rinse thoroughly with lots of clean water using a water jet machine.
- Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours.
COAT
- Shake the product container well.
- On the dry red brick surface, apply the Winseal Water Repellant coating directly on the dry surface using a spray or roller. Apply generously to make the entire surface wet. Ensure there is no dry patch.
- If the stone surface absorbs the coating immediately, apply a second layer of the coating.
- Allow the coating to dry for 48 hours before use.

The key is making sure the wall is completely dry before applying the coating — if you seal moisture in, it will look for another way out.
