Basalt used on feature walls, flooring, outdoor cladding, driveways — takes a lot of beating from dust, dirt, oil spills, foot traffic and daily cleaning. It slowly dulls the stone surface. The stone loses its edge. What was once a bold, dramatic design choice starts to look flat and tired.
Standard cleaning brings it back temporarily. But it doesn't protect. And it doesn't restore the richness.
This kit does both. The Heavy Duty Cleaner removes grease, soap scum and built-up residue from the basalt surface. Then the Premium Glossy Coating seals it — filling every pore, laying down a semi-glossy finish that makes the dark stone look dramatic and intentional, and protecting it from water and stains for years.

How to Use
Step 1 — Clean the Surface
Apply Winseal Heavy Duty Cleaner to the surface. Scrub thoroughly to remove dirt, stains and surface buildup. Allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding.
Step 2 — Prepare the Coating
Dilute Winseal Premium Glossy Clear Coating with water up to 30% (max 300 ml water per 1 Kg of coating). Mix well until a smooth, uniform mixture is formed.
Step 3 — Apply First Coat
Using a roller or brush, apply the coating evenly across the entire surface. While the coating is still wet, use a second dry roller to absorb any excess — this ensures optimum thickness and even coverage.
Step 4 — Dry & Apply Second Coat
Allow the first coat to dry for 4–6 hours. Apply the second coat in the same manner — one roller to apply, one dry roller to absorb excess.
Step 5 — Cure
Allow the final coat to cure fully for 48 hours before use or foot traffic.
⚠️ Not suitable for vitrified tiles, polished marble or other non-porous surfaces.

No. Premium Glossy Clear Coating is built to give a smooth satin finish, not a high-shine or plasticky look. It enhances the natural depth and colour of the basalt while keeping the finish refined rather than mirror-glossy.

Just recoat, in most cases. The Heavy Duty Cleaner is meant for the initial deep clean to strip dirt and buildup before the first coating. For future top-ups, applying the coating on a clean, dry surface is usually enough you don't need to redo the full clean each time.
