Basalt used on feature walls, flooring, outdoor cladding, driveways — takes a lot of beating from dust, dirt, oil spills, foot traffic and daily cleaning. It slowly dulls the stone surface. The stone loses its edge. What was once a bold, dramatic design choice starts to look flat and tired.
Standard cleaning brings it back temporarily. But it doesn't protect. And it doesn't restore the richness.
This kit does both. The Heavy Duty Cleaner removes grease, soap scum and built-up residue from the basalt surface. Then the Premium Glossy Coating seals it — filling every pore, laying down a semi-glossy finish that makes the dark stone look dramatic and intentional, and protecting it from water and stains for years.

How to Use ?
Application Details
CLEAN
- Remove dust and debris, slightly wet the surface with water before applying the cleaner
- Spray Winseal Heavy Duty Cleaner on the surface using a sprayer, without diluting it.
- Allow 2-3 minutes of dwell time, where the cleaner will loosen the dust and dirt deposits.
- Scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive pad to lift residues.
- Rinse thoroughly with lots of clean water.
- Repeat if required for heavy scaling.
- Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours.
COAT
- Shake the product container well.
- On the dry basalt surface, apply the first layer of Winseal Premium Glossy coating after diluting it with water up to 30% by volume (example, add 300 ml of water to 1 Kg solution). Mix the coating well before application and apply a thin layer of the coating. Avoid coating excess/thick layer.
- Let the first coat dry for 3 to 4 hours.
- Apply a second layer of coating with same water dilution and apply the coating in perpendicular direction to the first layer. apply a thin layer of coating.
- Allow the coating to dry for 24 hours before use.

No. Premium Glossy Clear Coating is built to give a smooth satin finish, not a high-shine or plasticky look. It enhances the natural depth and colour of the basalt while keeping the finish refined rather than mirror-glossy.

Yes, you can use this combo for outdoor as well as indoor applications. You can use this combo for horizontal applications - walkway, driveway; as well as vertical applications - wall cladding.

Durability depends on foot traffic and weather exposure outdoor or high-traffic basalt surfaces will wear faster than indoor ones. We'd recommend inspecting the surface periodically and reapplying the coating once you notice the satin finish or water resistance starting to fade.

Yes, you can use any pH neutral cleaners in small amounts to clean the surface. Avoid using acid, bleach or other such chemicals to clean the coated area.
